Happy New Year Everyone! 2026 is here and like everything else, change is coming (or you are committed to making change). Yes, I am talking about the annual resolutions. We all hear things that start with “I am going to quit this, lose that and so on.” However, what about the resolutions for your business or organization? Have you ever thought about that? Below are some business-related resolutions that you may want to consider:
- Focus on One Primary Objective: Define a single measurable goal for revenue, impact, or growth, and prioritize it over distractions.
- Document Processes: Systematize your business processes for onboarding, sales, and delivery to scale without burnout.
- Value Your Expertise: Regularly review and adjust your pricing strategy to reflect your time and results accurately.
- Commit to a Primary Marketing Channel: Focus on one channel (like email or social media) and engage consistently.
- Embrace Automation: Automate repetitive tasks to gain leverage and improve efficiency.
- Practice Small Courage: Take small, uncomfortable actions daily to tackle challenges and improve your business.
- Build Robust Data Systems: Invest in first-party data collection to enhance customer engagement and loyalty.
- Optimize Supply Chain: Reduce inventory costs by working with suppliers for better inventory management.
- Join Networking Groups: Expand your professional network to access new opportunities and resources.
- Use AI Wisely: Leverage AI as a tool to enhance business operations rather than as a replacement for human expertise.
A lot of the list above is probably not new to many of you. However, if you commit to focus and execute on one or a few of the items above, you will be surprised at the change that can actually happen. We look forward to talking more with you as 2026 unfolds.
