
Suzanne H. Griest
Suzanne is a lifelong resident of Wellsville. She earned her undergraduate degree from Ursinus College (with honors in Political Science) in 1978 and went immediately to Widener University School of Law where she graduated with her Juris Doctor in 1981. Suzanne was a partner in the law firm of Griest, Himes, Herrold, Reynosa until the firm merged with MPL in October of 2022. Suzanne currently serves on the management committee of the firm.
Suzanne and her husband, Harry, reside in Wellsville. She is active in her church and its music ministry. Suzanne enjoys golf, croquet, reading and the performing arts.
Suzanne concentrates her practice in the areas of Family Law, Estates & Wills, Real Estate and Municipal Law. She is actively involved in the York County Bar Association and its Foundation. She is a past president of the Association and the Foundation, and former chair of the Family Law Section. Suzanne has served on the Board of Directors of various civic and non-profit organizations.
Suzanne takes a very practical approach to her practice of law and strives to resolve issues through negotiation but is also an experienced litigator who has achieved many successful outcomes. Suzanne is also trained in collaborative law which allows her to assist clients in reaching settlements without litigation.
